For orders over $200.00 the delivery is FREE. For orders less than $200.00 the delivery fee is $.50/mile.
Orders placed before 12 pm Monday will be delivered on Tuesday, and orders placed before 12 pm Thursday will be delivered on Friday.
You will get a text message with an ETA when your delivery is on the way.
Smarty Plants Nursery delivers to South Florida, specifically – Broward, Charlotte, Collier, Desoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Highlands, Lee, Manatee, Martin, Monroe, Miami-Dade, Okeechobee, Palm Beach, Sarasota, and St. Lucie Counties.
Smarty Plants Nursery is a specialist in delivering plants so you can be assured that your plant will be handled with the utmost care. Unfortunately, when plants are shipped by third-parties they aren’t handled with care thus Smarty Plants Nursery only delivers plants so that your plant arrives in great shape.

If you order over $200 worth of plants, the delivery is free.
The best bang for your buck is to order your plant in the smallest pot size available because it will grow and eventually be your desired size and you pay a premium for the plant if you purchase it bigger so because patience is free, smaller plants provide you with the greatest bang for your buck.

Yes. Smarty Plants Nursery has free tools so that you can do your own landscape design for free. Please click here for more.
Yes. And for the trees the installation fee includes staking.

Plant Picture
You’ll receive a picture of your plant the day before the delivery – on Monday for Tuesday delivery or on Thursday for Friday delivery.
Your order is covered by a 30 day guarantee so if you don’t approve of the plant picture, your order will be cancelled and you’ll receive a full refund for the order.
Returns
Smarty Plants Nursery provides a 30 day after delivery or pick-up, money-back guarantee on all plants. Plants may be returned once during the warranty period.
Exceptions
- Dead Plants (Smarty Plants Nursery is not responsible for lack of care during the warranty period)
- Plants not in the same condition as they were received
- Plants not installed by Smarty Plants Nursery
- Plants installed by Smarty Plants Nursery but are moved after installation
- Plants that fail inspection (it is the customer’s responsibility to provide Smarty Plants Nursery with plans or specs so that Smarty Plants Nursery selects plants that pass inspection).
Contact Smarty Plants Nursery and then leave your plant where Smarty Plants Nursery can pick it up on Tuesday or Friday.
Your refund will be processed once Smarty Plants Nursery receives the returned plant.
Shipping
No. Smarty Plants Nursery only delivers to South Florida with it’s own truck.
The website does not allow you to purchase if your zip code isn’t in South Florida because Smarty Plants Nursery only delivers to South Florida.
