Landscape Installation Agreement
Plants will be installed when they are delivered on Tuesday or Friday.
Smarty Plants Nursery planting service includes the following:
- Digging hole to required diameter and depth appropriate for site and plant
- Initial watering in of the plant using customer furnished water source and hose
- Staking of trees included when determined necessary by installer
- Haul away of discarded pots
I acknowledge that the area for planting is clear and accessible. Smarty Plants Nursery employees are not responsible for moving any items needed to gain access.
I acknowledge that Smarty Plants Nursery is not responsible for any underground utilities damaged in the installation process. (Please disclose location of septic system prior to installation).
I acknowledge that Smarty Plants Nursery is not responsible for removing any stumps or plant material from the planting site. If it is desired to install new plant on top of a previously removed tree, I will ensure the stump is either completely removed or “deep ground” to a minimum depth of six inches greater than the depth of the new plant’s container.
I acknowledge that the installation service includes removing enough sod for the new plant only. Sod removal for new beds must be done prior to delivery date. I also understand that it is highly recommended to have entire strip of sod removed for installation of new hedges.
